So we got there by bus, under their arrangement, at 8 a.m., only to be left in the blistering sun til 2 p.m., waiting for them to get the rooms ready. The add said that all the rooms had air-conditioning, but the agency told us that only the loft rooms did and that the thing we read in the newspaper was a typo, yeah, right. I prepaid a double bedroom with a TV/toilet/shower, we got there and what I got was a room in a loft with a tiny window which had to be closed at all times, because it was under a parking lot, so that every time a car drove in, that white dust came flying in. Only the loft rooms have air-conditioning, each with its own split-system, so it''s not run by a central, and wouldn''t you know it, just like a curse, all eight were out of work and they were waiting for this piece to get there from Zagreb. But each one of them was out of work last week. The people up in the loft couldn''t breathe, they only had one little roof window and that was it. The owner, from Zagreb, works at the reception, together with his wife. Unbelieveably rude. The door locks at 11 p.m., and after that, no getting in again. |
